Otis Landerholm wants to change this world by helping one client at a time. He especially enjoys defending the rights of ordinary folks who are unfamiliar with the legal system.
Otis greatly enjoys learning languages. He speaks both Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. He believes that with increasing globalization, people need to get to know one another. A good way to start is to learn each other’s language.

Founding Attorney, Otis C. Landerholm, Esq., and his staff defend the rights of people from all over the world. Otis, who speaks both Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, has lived in several countries, including Spain, Argentina, Japan, China and Ecuador. He is a graduate of Washington State University and Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco.
In 2015, Otis earned an honorable selection from Super Lawyers to join the 2015 Northern California Rising Stars list. Super Lawyers recognizes attorneys who have demonstrated excellence in the practice of law and distinguished themselves in their legal practice, and their patented selection process is rigorous and results in third-party validation of professional accomplishments. Only 2.5 percent of attorneys within the state of California receive the honor of being selected to join the Northern California Rising Stars list.
As a lawyer dedicated to civic and professional leadership, Otis volunteers with many local non-profits and is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association. He currently lives with his wife, Wendy, and their two children in Oakland, California. Together with his family, he enjoys playing music, throwing frisbee, traveling, and bicycling.
